Roberto Davolio @roberto_davolio has been a practising architect for over 20 years, and has built a reputation as a structural artist, with a deep understanding of both built and ephemeral spaces. His architectural background informs his artwork, and he uses photography to explore the symbiotic relationship between "mind" and "space", challenging our interactions with the built environment around us.

About the work:

Lost & Found: I lose myself in cities to find my soul.

“In this ambiguous space, the mind has lost its geometrical homeland and the spirit is drifting.” —— Gaston Bachelard, The Poetics of Space

This series presents the familiar geometry of the city in radically altered ways, reintroducing ambiguity into the expected and forcing the viewer to question their own pre-conceptions of what is real.

關於藝術家：Roberto Davolio 是一位有二十多年經驗的建築師，也是一位專注於結構藝術的攝影師。Roberto 的建築背景為他的藝術創作提供了豐富的經驗和基礎，他利用攝影探索「心靈」與「空間」之間的共生關係，挑戰我們與周遭建築環境的互動。

關於作品：

「迷失與尋找」：我在城市中迷失，卻找到了我的靈魂。

這個系列將城市中熟悉的幾何形狀以截然不同的方式呈現，重新引入了不確定性，從而迫使觀賞者重新思考自己對現實的固有想法。
